Vic Firth Danny Carey Signature Series Reviews 5

Bought the sticks at a local music store. I payed almost 20 Can

I used to play on light drum sticks because i wanted to get a lot of speed out of the sticks. One day i had just broken a set and i went to grap another pair. I noticed a set of Danny Carey's signature series sticks and noticed how heavy they were. As i like tool and Danny Carey's drumming, i figured i would give them a try even if they werent my style. I Now Won't go back to anything else. The sticks are extremely durable and hard hitting. I havent broken my first set of them yet and i've had them for a few months. They actually have a bit of a slant in the grip which i cant really explain, but it helps you with speed and i play at least as fast with these as i play with my really light ones.

There is nothing not to like really. If you are really weak maybe there would be a problem. I hate to be one of those people who say there is nothing wrong with something but come on its a drum stick how much can they screw up on.

Very well constructed. Again, go take a look at a pair they are shaped kind of strangley but they are very fast and heavy at the same time.

After a few months of use these sticks are still in perfect working order. They increased my speed and I am not able to play on light ones anymore. I used to use regal tip but switched because their sticks started warping and were getting to be worse and worse quality. I urge you to give these sticks a try you will not be dissapointed(I Hope)
